1942 Ford GPW Script Jeep Date of Delivery 3-25-42 Early Ford tub on Early Willys frame (standard procedure early in war) Original data plates match Ford motor number which matches Ford stamped number on driver side of Willys frame. Floors replaced with our replacement panels (been making and selling them for years) and rear tub panel replaced with John Geesink panel. Welding done by professional welder. All mechanicals completely rebuilt and in great working order. Motor: complete rebuild and balancing (pulley to clutch plate) done by Mark Bello. Sleeved back to standard. All new Stewart Warner guages. All new wiring harness (made by us, been making and selling harness for over 30 years) Correct colors and hardware. Original parts (partial list): Five Combat Rims, Top Bows and brackets, Seats, Sparton Horn, Grab Handles, the list goes on! Flat pancake air cleaner is a repro made by us, been making and selling them for years. All new canvas by Wee Bee Webbing (best in the business without taking out a mortgage!, our opinion) Seat cushions are made using original springs and horsehair as was period correct. Tandem Tow Bar and working Capstan Winch included with correct bell crank and axle bumper spacers. Period correct BC-659 radio transmitter/receiver with early PE 117 power supply. In working order.New Summer top included.*** The pics are a little old and do not show the correct MP48A Antenna Mast and Antenna Bag with complete set of five antennas.Also, a tow rope was added to the passenger side fender which is correct for the winch.  I will add pics if possible.Battery in pics has been replaced with Ford Tar Top Battery from Antique Auto Batteries. (6 Volt Optima is buried inside.) As close to Museum Quality as possible.  Every care was taken to make it period correct.  Panel and floors replaced using proper spot welds. Vehicle is sold AS IS.  This is a 74 year old vehicle and therefore, even though every care was taken to rebuild back to factory standards, there are NO guarantees or warranties.  Have restored and sold over 100 jeeps over 45 years of MV collecting and parts sales.  Vehicle was built to order and sold at a price over $40,000 but after seller backed out after a substantial delay, we decided to put it up for sale again.  The purchase price DOES NOT include shipping or any transport of vehicle.  Will be happy to help load BUT will NOT be responsible for loading or setting up shipping.  Purchaser is totally responsible for the cost and arrangement of shipping.   Vehicle is located in Santa Rosa, California, approx. 40 miles north of San Francisco.  Personal viewing is more than welcome, just contact us and we will be happy to set up an appointment.  Deposit of $1000 required at time of purchase and full price is due prior to pickup or shipping.
